Mission
The Public Works Department’s goal is to remove graffiti on public property within 24 hours. When coordination with other agencies, such as Puget Sound Energy or King County/Metro is required, the response time will increase. If the graffiti is on private property, the City will contact the owner and encourage the owner to remove the graffiti immediately. You may also use the Anti Graffiti Hotline for reporting if it is your own property that has been vandalized with graffiti.

The City of Milwaukee Department of Neighborhood Services (DNS) operates an Anti Graffiti Hotline. Citizens can call an report locations of graffiti. DNS will try to contact the owner, advise them of any options and hopefully have the graffiti removed quickly. If the owner fails to comply an order will be issued. In some cases the City will do the work and assess the costs to the owner.

The City of Sacramento's Anti Graffiti program is taking action to wipe out graffiti and clean up crime. The Code Enforcement, General Services, and Police Departments are working together to manage a practical Graffiti Abatement Program in Sacramento. The City is working to keep neighborhoods clean and attractive through various activities including abatement programs, educational outreach, community involvement and police enforcement.

The Street Department will assist the public through the City's Anti Graffiti Hotline (915) 621-6789 in the removal and enforcement of Graffiti on City Rights of Way.
The City of El Paso's established program for the eradication of Graffiti is taking a proactive approach with the purchase of three Unitized Graffiti Removal Vehicles which demonstrates the City of El Paso continued commitment to the eradication of unsightly graffiti in our city.
The incorporation of these three Multi media units will provide each assigned Graffiti eradication crew a means to remove tagging from numerous surfaces through environmentally friendly means without unnecessary waste of resources or time.

Anaheim Community Anti Graffiti Effort
Graffiti can make residents and visitors feel unsafe, and detracts from the City’s high quality of life and its business environment. The City of Anaheim is committed to doing all it can to prevent and eliminate graffiti. The City’s Community Anti-Graffiti Effort is the foundation for the City’s actions. Through multiple community meetings, a detailed analysis of graffiti crimes and analysis of research by experts in this arena, City staff worked with residents and the business community to develop a comprehensive strategy that attacks graffiti from all sides of this complex issue. The strategy has been endorsed by the City Council and implementation is well underway.

Salem residents can help by reporting graffiti they see. An electronic report form allows Salem graffiti reports to be uniform and accurate...very helpful for Kim Nelson & the cleanup crews. Anti Graffiti Program
Greater Ridgewood Restoration Corporation (GRRC) is not a business but a non-profit organization that has worked since 1975 to stabilize and improve our neighborhood. Through our anti-graffiti building cleaning program begun on May 4, 1992, we have cleaned nearly 4,400 sites. The program is in operation from April through November.
